Longines Future Tennis Aces on the Road: Taiwan
Longines, as a brand of elegance, has always maintained a strong correlation with tennis. As the official partner of the legendary French Open: Roland Garros since 2007, the brand has put great efforts supporting Tennis from countries all over the world.
Starting from “Discover Tomorrow’s Champion” in 2009, “Head for French open, Discover Tomorrow’s Champion” in 2010, Longines cooperated with the Chinese Taipei Tennis Association to hold “2011 Longines Future Tennis on the Road” to recruit the future Aces in Taiwan.
Tsung-Hua Yang, Longines Ambassador of Elegance of the world of Sports, was specially invited to attend the final recruitment tournament in Taiwan, and witnessed the Taiwan tennis future Aces in Taichung Integration Sports Tennis Tournament. Meanwhile, Chi-Ling Lin, Longines Ambassador of Elegance sent a video to encourage the Taiwanese represented kid and gave her best wishes to the kid.
There attendance encouraged all candidates. Tsung-Hua Yang also shared with the winning kid, Hsiang-Yi Wang that it is important to demonstrate the spirit of sportsman and full speed ahead. This is also delivering Longines brand spirit, “Elegance is an attitude” through the positive sharing with the kids on the tennis tournament.
The winner, Shiang-Yi Wang from Kee-Lung City, was honored by receiving the award from Director General Liao, Tsung-Hua Yang, and Erica Chang from Longines Taiwan Vice President. After that, Tsung-Hua Yang presented Chi-Ling Lin’s encourage video to all attendees in the award press conference.

Longines’ mission is not only to select a kid to French Open, but also aimed to grow tennis as a practical lecture activity and help cultivate more potential future tennis stars in Taiwan.
