Longines awards prizes to the best artistic interpretations of the “Dolce vita”

To celebrate the launch of the Longines DolceVita steel-gold range ( http://longines-dolcevita.longines.com ), which was unveiled exclusively in Rome on 8th September in the presence of the brand’s new ambassador Kate Winslet, Longines invited amateur and professional artists worldwide to create their own interpretation of the “Dolce vita” during a period of two months.

Some 500 photos and 60 videos were uploaded to the community portal Eyeka.com.

The panel of judges – composed of Longines DolceVita campaign photographer Véronique Vial, the advertising film director Matthieu Mantovani and representatives of the Longines management – selected the following winners:

- 1st prize for videos went to “Smog”, winning €5,000 and a Longines DolceVita watch.

- 2nd prize for videos went to “lrnz”, winning €1,000.

- 1st prize for photos went to “Zerrac”, winning €1,000 and a Longines DolceVita watch.

In addition to the judges´ selections, the video and photo that received the most online votes from the public were:

- Most voted video: “Smog”, winning €1,000.
